A few religions even sprung up that started worshiping this new energy. Science folk started calling it Aythir, a respelling of the acient Aether, thought to be the fifth element, the element of the spirit and soul. Aythirian churches started popping up amongst many scientists and intellectuals. In truth, The Explosion was the best thing to happen to the Earth, and to humanity. Though several billion people died, those that survived found a new way of life that was easier. Plants and animals florished like never before. There was an infinite energy source through Aythir. Aythir truly was a miracle, and Aythirism was becoming the most popular religion by far. People would pray to Aythir to give them powers.
